5 MORE DAYS & COUNTING >>>

Its past midnight and the countdown has started ... hahaha...lame!!! Anyway ... 5 more days and i will on a flight to Beijing! *HOORAY* I'm gonna make full use of the coming weekend to enjoy my beloved country before its off and away to foreign land! HAHAHA ... i sound like i am going to be gone for years ....i tend to miss out that i will just be gone for only a month! So its really no biggie ...

Got to do some local shopping for my beijing colleagues! I guess as long as they are gonna pay me back ....i'm not complaining! After all its for a good cause .... hahaha! I still need them to show me around ... *grins*

I'm at a lost at what to pack for my trip to Beijing ... hahaha .. this is like probably the first time! I use to pack for melbourne with ease, cause there wasn't much to pack at all. Besides it was either studying or a holiday. But this time, its for work .. so i have to admit i am alittle mentally confused cause theres quite an amount of hardware that i have to bring along with me too!

Hmmm ...gosh i gonna have quite a bit of luggage. I think i might underpack alittle in terms of clothes, probably 1-2 weeks worth and i'll just buy the rest there or something! I hope theres nice men clothes! Well i don't think i will get a culture shock...cause i'm pretty good at adapting, so that should go pretty well. Probably getting around and speaking chinese on a daily/hourly basis might get to me alittle....hahaha ... thinking about it i feel so "cheena" already....hahaha!

The weather right now in Beijing seems to be ranging from a good 21 degrees during the day and a slight drop to 14 degrees or something during the night. So its pretty much perfect weather if you ask me! The packing continues day by day ...cause i pretty much have no clue just yet .. haha...i'll just take my time so i won't miss out on anything ....

Alright its coming to 1 am in the morning and work is pretty much per-normal since its a tuesday! Time to hit the sack and call it a night.....

BEIJING IS NEARING >>>

This will be my final week in Singapore and i will be off to Beijing on Monday 9th of Oct for a month. I'm really looking forward to it ...the whole new environment just thrills me! I really hope my accomodation is clean and nice. My company just downgraded me from a 5 star hotel to a "5 star service apartment" or so they say *bugger*!! Although its in the same building i no longer get my daily room tidying services and the worst part i have to do my own laundry!! cause the washing machine is provided for ..... fucks man!!! Well i guess i can still deal with that.... all i can pray for now is that the service apartment is real swanky.... like the one my sis got whenher company sent her to melbourne ... hahaha!!

It nearing winter in beijing and looking into my wardrobe i only see 1 thick jacket. So it looks like i have to do some shopping to keep myself warm. Well i'm not really complaining cause its china ...so things are pretty cheap from what i heard. I hope my beijing colleagues are all nice people, hopefully they might bring me around during the weekends and show me a thing or 2 about their motherland.

Will be taking heaps of photos cause my jolly good camera is going on the trip with me. Oh well i hope i don't end up having a food problem there ... cause i'm really kind of fussy when it comes to that. Hahaha .... i'm all anxious about going there .. i can't stop thinking about it! Anyways .. its late and i have to work tomorrow ... so i'm gonna call it a day!

BEIJING SOON TO COME >>>

I have not gotten confirmation yet on the dates that i will be heading over to Beijing for training, but it looks like its gonna be in 1 to 2 weeks time. So that kinda of cool! I have never been to China before, so it should be pretty interesting! Never travelled overseas alone too. Its usually in the company of friends or family. It should be great fun travelling solo, doing things in your own pace. Not having to wait around for people. Although i will be there for a month. I really only have 8 days to do sightseeing, cause other then that its normal working hours. (9am - 6pm + overtime to learn more stuff)

Can't wait to go sight seeing in China. So much history, culture and people! I should really start planning my trip! Although i am not much of a fan of crowded places, it seems like i will have to make do and adapt to it! Well learning and gaining as much information in CG is really my main motive. The chinese in China have got really great talent and i am hoping to find one there. Hopefully i will be able to catch what their saying and absorb as much as i can to sharpen my skill.

Hmmm...by the time i get back it would be near the end of October and soon it will be the end of the year! DAM .... time flies!! Well i should start planning a 2007 /2008 demo reel, at least i can spread out the work over the 1.5 years that i will be bonded to my company to prepare for future employment if i do decide to leave that is. I know its still kind of far but like the saying goes "A nick in time saves 9" Its all good so far, hopefully 2007 would be a better year for me!

I'm suppose to be finishing up my art for the blizzard competition but ever since i got a job...i have majorly slacked off *slap face* can't seem to be able to pull myself to sit infront of the computer after work! I have to admit the coach and tv has been ever so tempting since workkick started! God ... i need to get it out of my system! *slap face* I guess its cause of the fact that i got a job and i'm bonded for like 1.5 years thats why i am mentally slacking off and also its due to a long days of work i might add.....shitz! I'm majorly taking it for granted just cause i have a job....*slap face again*



I hope all this "wanna self motivate" helps...haha! OK... its late and tomorrow i have to get up early for work, so i'll try starting tomorrow! *ahem ...thats me giving myself an excuse to slack off again! Bugger!

Hello BLOG! Its been awhile since i last typed www.blogger.com on my address bar. I've been really tied down by work and daily issues of my life. Oh whats new anyway ....its a vicious cycle anyway.

I'm still alive and kicking....if anyone wanted to know...hahaha! Currently trying to finish an artwork for the BLIZZARD COMPETITION thats going on! So time is really tight right now....My life still full of UPS & downs like everyone else. So i am just gonna zone out and concentrate my work to do some justice to myself and everything else is just HISTORY....or became HISTORY awhile ago...

Anyway ... shall slumper down on my chair and keep concentrating on my work .... everything else can just wait for now!

UPDATE >>>

Its been a long while since i updated my blog. Thats because i have been busy with my personal work and YES i am still doing it! Well i haven't been doing much except for work to be honest...everyday is the same routine of waking up staring at the computer, cooking instant noodles or ordering mac delivery and just work work work!

I know it might sound boring and it might seem i have no life .. but for the greater good this is a sacrifice i need to make! Well at least it keeps my thoughts away and most importantly i enjoy it! So whos complaining!

My birthday is coming soon and i guess that will be the time i take a break, but until then it will be full blast all the way!

Looking forward to the break as i will be going to phuket for a short holiday! Hopefully that turns out well too ... and for my friends that i have neglected. Just bare with me for awhile ... its a personal hurdle that i need to overcome!
